Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants

We have an excellent opportunity for a Per-Diem Nurse Practitioner APRN at our Quincy practice.
Community based out-patient practice with diverse patient population
Collaborative teamwork Outstanding clinical practice supports, including staff to manage appointment booking/reception, billing and referral authorization
On site laboratory, radiologic and pharmacy services
Assists the physician in the preoperative care and workup patients
Provides ongoing comprehensive outpatient services in collaboration with or under the supervision of the physician
Performs and records history and physical examination including a targeted pelvic/urogynecologic exam
Conducts preoperative patient education
Independently initiates and completes informed consent process with patients (surgical and outpatient procedure) and (urodynamics, cystoscopy and others)
Provides pessary fitting and pessary teaching
- tibial nerve stimulation
- Interstim programming
- provides post-op voiding trials
- teaches intermittent self catheterization
- bladder instillations
Education: Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Must have graduated from a master's level state and NLN approved NP program and possess state licensure to practice in the expanded role. Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Must have national certification and Commonwealth of Massachusetts licensure as NP. Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
Skills and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of specialty specific and/or ambulatory experience to include acute care management. Experience with minor surgical skills, i.e., suturing, IV and I&D preferred. Strong preference for a knowledge base and/or experience in uro-gynecology, proficient in EPIC
