This opportunity is available due to the retirement of a long-term CEO. Baldrige and Studer are key components of this role. The Organization: Financially strong, Peterson Health is an independent, private, not-for-profit community-based healthcare system located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Kerrville. With net revenues of more than $125 million, 900 employees and 250 medical professionals, the PRMC family has been the largest employer in Kerr County for many decades. Serenely settled on a scenic 35-acre campus, the 124-bed hospital features comfortable private rooms. Within the main campus is an ED and over 25 key service lines. Peterson’s neighboring Ambulatory Care Center offers outpatient surgical services, radiology and imaging, outpatient rehabilitation and an advanced Wound Healing Center offering two hyperbaric oxygen chambers — the only of their kind available in the region. Peterson’s services also include Hospice, Homecare, Medical Associates, Outreach Lab, Community Care, Urgent Care; and Peterson’s Specialty Care in Kerrville and Boerne, recently named “Best Medical Specialty” by readers of the Boerne Star. Peterson recently opened a new family practice clinic in Bandera. The organization has a stable and growing physician practice -- and the Board is engaged, knowledgeable and supportive of the CEO and organizational efforts. The Opportunity: The Chief Executive Officer reports to the Board of Directors and works closely with the hospital management and leadership of the organized medical staff in developing strategic direction and major policies of the institution. The CEO will be a collaborative and very visible leader, both in the community and at all Peterson Health entities. |
