Leads or coordinates shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
Serves as a technical or functional resource and performs similar duties with staff.
Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and/or procedures.
Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
Ensures image quality, excellence in patient care and uninterrupted work flow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion and accuracy
Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Analyzes and incorporates current clinical and business trends. Provides input into the budgetary process.
Facilitates required departmental adjustments to ensure cost effective delivery of quality care and services
CertificationRequired:ARRT- R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) and
AZ MedicalRadiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
Certification Required: BasicLife Support (BLS) - American Heart Association.
Required: Associateâs Degree in RadiologicTechnology or Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
Preferred: Bachelorâs Degree in RadiologicTechnology.
Required: Three (3) years of continuous diagnostictechnology and knowledge in either ofthe listed multimodalities: CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and CardiovascularLab/Special Procedures, InterventionalRadiology, Neuro, Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, etc.
Preferred: Five (5) years clinical experience and knowledge in multimodality (listed above), includingsupervisory experience.
