Coordinates staff and workload to accomplish examinations ordered during to maximize productivity. Involved with performance evaluations, counseling, and performance improvement. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department. Responsible for ordering supplies, quality control, quality assurance and staff education. Communicates with physicians, management and supervisors of all sub-sections in the Imaging Department and throughout the hospital. Must have technical knowledge of all radiographic procedures and equipment. Leadership skills are critical for setting and demonstrating standards of performance.
Bachelorï¿½s Degree preferred
Three (3) recent years as a lead preferred (Hospital experience)
State of California Licensure ï¿½ must be within the scope of Imaging Services
A.R.R.T Certified - preferred
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA certified)
Current State of CA Fluoroscopy License (or, within six (6) months of hire/ transfer), if applicable
Current Venipuncture Certification, if applicable
Current DOT Certification (must complete within six (6) months of hire/ transfer), if applicable
