Assists with the overall operation of the Imaging Services, including diagnostic Radiology, CT, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Vascular, and Interventional Radiology.
Position Qualification: (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities)
High school graduate; BS degree preferred.
Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college affiliated or hospital trained programs.
Three years experience as a technologist in a very complex setting.
Two to five years of managing experience in the Diagnostic Imaging field.
Basic computer knowledge.
Demonstrates a good knowledge of anatomy and physiology as related to the science of Radiology.
Demonstrates good communication, written and organizational skills.
Registered by the appropriate national registry (e.g. ARDMS, ARRT, etc.).
Certified by the State of Florida to practice and administer radiation.
Current BCLS certification.
Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) in English.
Ability to write legibly (Clinical Areas).
Additional languages desirable.
