We have an integrated health care network that incorporates hospitals, clinics, physician practices, diagnostic centers and other primary and specialty care facilities serving the residents of 24 counties in northwest North Carolina and southwest Virginia.
Provides high quality technical neurodiagnostic ultrasound services appropriate to age of patient, contributing to a positive patient outcome. Maintains cooperative working relationship with other departments and members of the medical system.
Completion of an Allied Health Training Program in Diagnostic Ultrasound resulting in an Associate?s degree, completion of a correlative Allied Health Program with successful completion of a postgraduate course in Neuroultrasound, or Bachelor's degree in a related field. One year clinical ultrasound experience preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
Completion of the Registry of Vascular Technologists required or the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 18 months of hire.Vascular Sonographer and RVT, RT(VS), or RVS required. Current CPR certification required.
