X-Ray Associates of NM is currently seeking a manager to oversee the the daily operations of the Breast Imaging Center located in Albuquerque, NM. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
This position is responsible for the hiring and disciplinary process within the facility, including introductory and annual evaluations, competencies and staff scheduling. The Manager is responsible for compliance with MQSA, ACR, and FDA along with other state and federal regulatory agencies. Quality control and patient safety are also responsibilities of this position.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform mammography and/or Breast Ultrasound, during staffing shortages. We are seeking an individual who is able to work independently, will offer leadership and development of the team of technologists and front office staff, and will enforce standards which meet best practices and the utmost patient satisfaction. They must serve as a role model for all staff; must be able to work closely and collaboratively with the radiologists, breast surgeons, breast navigator and the COO.
The Breast Imaging Center’s mission is to provide early cancer detection services and support, once cancer is detected. XRANM is a leading provider of breast imaging and interventional services. We offer MR guided, stereotactic and ultrasound guided breast procedures at this outpatient imaging center.
Five plus years of practical experience in the role of Breast Imaging Center Manager with specific experience with MQSA and ACR. Must possess a NM State License and be certified ARRT (R, M) and/or ARDMS. Must be CPR certified.
Must possess and demonstrate excellent communication skills, initiative, tact, diplomacy and dependability to manage all of the duties of this job. Must possess the necessary discretion to deal with confidential information. Must have the ability to establish and maintain rapport with all levels of center employees, the radiologists and external contacts. Must make decisions and organize system procedures to make the most effective and economical use of resources. Must have and be able to train great customer service skills. Must possess comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for imaging and related modalities.
