Our Registered Vascular Technologists (RVT's) are responsible for the completion of specialized vascular examinations to aid in the diagnosis of vascular disease and to guide the determination of therapy options.
This position provides direct patient care and may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to state law.
Qualified candidates must have completed one of the following:
Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Current certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Responsibilities
Coordinates and prioritizes ordered exams.
Collaborates and coordinates with medical staff including, but not limited to, physicians, APC's, medical fellows and residents, and other medical staff.
Collects medical information and patient histories.
Performs vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with the department and oversees accredited body outlined protocols and procedures.
Appropriately documents exams and preliminary impressions.
Cleans and maintains equipment, supplies, and work area.

Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Current certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Current certification as a Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography RT(VS) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current certification as a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
