By way of background, Delta Medix is an independent multi-specialty group located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, that includes surgeons (general, breast, vascular, and colon and rectal), urologists, otolaryngologists, pulmonologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, internists and family practitioners. In addition, we have a Breast Care Center, Imaging Services, Pathology and the Delta Medix Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care.
We are currently recruiting a Radiation Oncologist to work in our Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care.
We currently treat over 400 cancer patients per year and treat primarily cancers of the breast, head and neck, lung, rectum, prostate, and uterus.
As partners in Delta Medix, the Radiation Oncologists play a vital role in the Practice’s Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care.
We currently have a TrueBeam and a Siemens linear accelerator.
It is our goal to serve our patients in the best possible manner. We hold two Multidisciplinary Care Meetings per week to discuss all newly diagnosed cancers. We offer supportive services such as Palliative Care by a Board Certified Palliative Care physician, Psychosocial counseling, and Nutrition counseling.
We have a clinical affiliation agreement with the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center of Thomas Jefferson University. The services at our Center are integrated with those offered at The Kimmel Cancer Center.
