Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Urology Advanced Practice Provider, you will join our dynamic Holtzclaw Urology team in Chattanooga, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Urology cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.
Every day, you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within CommonSpirit Memorial Urology Associates.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Urology patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a supportive clinic environment. In your role, you will:
- Perform physical exams (within established protocol).
Diagnose, treat and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines)
Order diagnostic tests
Prescribe or recommend medications for treatment (within protocol guidelines)
- Assist providers with clinic procedures and consults as necessary
- Consult with doctor regarding patient symptoms to assure proper diagnosis and plan of treatment
We are offering a competitive base salary, a generous CME allowance that includes 40 hours of time away, sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision, and relocation assistance for new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Job RequirementsRequired
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Licensed or the ability to obtain a licensure and DEA in the state of Tennessee
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
Preferred
- 1-3 years previous experience in acute care or primary care setting or Equivalent RN experience
